Genuine Microsoft 365 Installation & Activation Guide

1. Purchase a valid Microsoft 365 subscription or genuine product key from Microsoft or an authorized reseller.
2. Go to the official Microsoft Office website:
   Microsoft 365 Setup
3. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
   • Create one if you do not already have an account.
4. Enter your genuine product key if your purchase included one.
   • The subscription will be linked to your Microsoft account.
5. After redemption, go to your Microsoft Services & Subscriptions page:
   Microsoft Account Services
6. Click Install Office or Install Apps.
7. Download the official installer provided by Microsoft.
8. Open the downloaded installer file and run it.
   • On Windows, allow administrator permission if prompted.
   • On macOS, open the .pkg installer and follow the instructions.
9. Wait for Microsoft 365 apps to install completely.
10. Open Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or any Office app.
11. Sign in with the same Microsoft account used during purchase/redeem.
12. Office will automatically activate if the license is genuine and correctly linked.

How to Verify It’s Genuine

• Open any Office app.
• Go to Account → Product Information.
• You should see:
  • “Product Activated”
  • Your Microsoft subscription name
  • Your signed-in Microsoft account
